Shipping Options

General Shipping Notes

  • Shipping charges for Canada Post are calculated on your orders actual weight and added at time of order.
  • Shipping charges for expedited shipping by UPS or FedEx are added to your order based on actual charges at time of shipping.
  • In-stock inventory ships within 48 hours. Our store allows back ordering. We will contact you if there are any issues. Our dehydrated dinner entrees are stored in bulk form and packaged at the time your order is processed.
  • The Yamnuska Backcountry Kitchen uses Canada Post for all standard shipping.
  • Please let us know when ordering if you require expedited delivery (UPS or Fed Ex), or if you prefer to pickup your order.
  • Curb-side pickup at our kitchen located in Canmore, Alberta, Canada

Order Pickup

  • We will have your order ready for pickup at the agreed upon time and day. Please provide complete details when ordering.
  • Pick up is available Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00pm, Weekends too during busy season. Alternate arrangements can be made at time of order.

  • Regular Parcel: 4-7 days
  • xPressPost: Faster
  • Priority: Fastest

Expidited by UPS or FedEx

  • If you require overnight delivery, please indicate at time of order and we will add actual shipping costs to your invoice at time of shipping.

Other Important Shipping Information

  • We ship from Canmore Alberta, one hour west of Calgary.
  • The Yamnuska Backcountry Kitchen’s food products are prepared in the same they are shipped from.
  • If you plan to travel to another country with our products, please read the Nutrition Facts table carefully and check with local authorities in your destination country on what is allowed regarding food products, especially those that contain meat.
  • We try to accommodate any shipping requirement. Surcharges may apply.

 

Yamnuska Backcountry Kitchen Return Policy

  • All orders are packaged from bulk supplies at the time we process your order. Therefore, we are unable to accept returns of  dehydrated dinner entrees once they are shipped or picked up from our kitchen.
  • If your order is shipped incorrectly, or there are obvious quality issues, we will offer a full refund of the cost dinners.
